The nursing home neglect lawsuit claims alleged failures by the nursing home resulted in the woman’s death from dehydration. An investigation by the Illinois Department of Public Health has arisen out of the wrongful death, and has uncovered many violations at the nursing home. Mr. Richter noted that the “lawsuit aims to bring the nursing home to justice.”
