Rapoport Law Offices is proud to announce a firm name change to Rapoport Weisberg & Sims, P.C.

January 1, 2019

Rapoport Law Offices is proud to announce a firm name change to Rapoport Weisberg & Sims, P.C. The firm name changes recognizes the contributions of Joshua L. Weisberg and Matthew S. Sims, who have been named shareholders, joining David E. Rapoport as firm owners.

David has been in practice since 1981, repeatedly winning multimillion-dollar jury verdicts and settlements for injured people. He served as president of the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA) from 2013-2016, Best Lawyers recognizes him as one of the Best Lawyers in America, Martindale Hubbell rates him its highest rating, “AV Preeminent”, and Illinois Super Lawyers recognizes him annually.

Josh has won multimillion-dollar jury verdicts, and he has obtained record-setting recoveries through trial and settlement in cases involving medical malpractice, auto accidents, product liability, premises liability, and construction negligence. He has achieved Board Certification in Civil Trial Advocacy from the National Board of Trial Advocates (NBTA). Mr. Weisberg has been repeatedly recognized as a “Super Lawyer” and a “Top 40 Under 40 Lawyer.”

Matthew has litigated cases nationwide, obtaining multimillion-dollar recoveries in a range of matters, including aviation, trucking, product liability, medical device, admiralty, and premises liability cases. Many such cases have been featured in the media and have also resulted in safety changes in the way corporations do business or design products. Matthew has been repeatedly selected as a “Super Lawyer Rising Star” and a “Top 40 Under 40 Lawyer.”

While the firm’s name has changed, its drive and commitment to deliver results for those who cannot fight for themselves will remain the same.
