March 4, 2021 – Anchorage, Alaska

Rapoport Weisberg & Sims, P.C. has filed a federal lawsuit in Alaska District Court on behalf of the family of a young woman and against the operators of a Part 135 for-hire charter operation and a construction company operating a private aircraft for their respective roles in causing the two aircraft to collide in midair over Soldotna, Alaska. The collision resulted in the deaths of the pilot of the private aircraft and all 6 aboard the charter plane. The NTSB investigation remains ongoing, but preliminary reports indicate that the pilots of both aircraft failed to see and avoid the other aircraft.
