■ Rapoport Law Offices, P.C., has filed a lawsuit against a physician and Walgreens for the negligent misfiling and/or ordering of a prescription. While pregnant with her second child, the plaintiff’s mother required thyroid medication. It was the physician’s intention to prescribe the medication at a dosage of 150mcg, unfortunately, the medication she received from the Walgreens pharmacy was at a dosage of 50mcg, one-third of the intended dose. This error resulted in permanent injuries to her then unborn son.
