Baby Sustains Injuries During Birth: Lawsuit Filed

June 14, 2006 - Rapoport Law Offices, P.C. has filed a medical negligence lawsuit against a Joliet based hospital on behalf of a baby who sustained injuries during birth. After delivery the baby had no signs of life, was resuscitated and transferred emergently to Rush Presbyterian Hospital where he remained for six weeks. The baby suffers permanent and severe neurological deficits including cerebral palsy, seizures, brain damage and hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy.
