Eight individuals, four couples from the Detroit area were severely injured when the van that was carrying them from Cancun International Airport to their hotel collided with a truck that was stopped on the side of the road. The van driver, who was killed in the crash, worked for Lomas Travel, a Mexican company hired by The Mark Travel Corporation to provide ground transportation for its customers in Mexico.
