Lawsuit Filed in Broadcast Communications Van Collision Case Alleges Improper Tires to Blame

May 4, 2005 - The driver and passenger of a customized broadcast communication van being driven for a network news station suffered serious injuries when the left rear tire blew out, causing the van to depart its lane of traffic and collide with other vehicles. Rapoport Law Offices, P.C. filed a lawsuit today on their behalf alleging the tire that blew out was not properly rated for the van and should not have been used. The defendants in the lawsuit are the company that modified the van and sold it to the station, and the garage that serviced the van for the station.
