June 27, 2011 - Rapoport Law Offices has obtained a $250,000 settlement on behalf of a 76 year old man and his 71 year old wife who were injured in a motor vehicle collision on March 14, 2009. The married couple was traveling southbound in their 2001 Volkswagen Passat at the intersection of Sheridan Road and Park Avenue in Glencoe, Illinois, when their vehicle was struck by a 1999 Ford Expedition traveling eastbound that failed to stop at a red light. The initial collision caused the couple's vehicle to propel into a third vehicle traveling northbound. The 76 year old man sustained an aggravation of pre-existing back injuries, and the 71 year old woman sustained broken ribs and a fractured wrist. Attorney Joshua L. Weisberg served as lead counsel.
