Lawsuit Filed in DuPage County, Illinois for 38-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Auto Collision

A lawsuit has been filed in DuPage County, Illinois, on behalf of a 38-year-old man who sustained serious and permanent injuries after being rear-ended in an auto collision on August 27, 2013. At the time of the accident, the plaintiff's vehicle was stopped in traffic in the westbound lanes of I-88 in York Township, when the defendant failed to stop and crashed his vehicle into the back of the plaintiff's vehicle at a high rate of speed. The defendant's vehicle crashed into the plaintiff's vehicle with enough force to cause it to propel into a third vehicle, and to cause the third vehicle to propel into a fourth vehicle. As a result of the collision, the lawsuit brought by Rapoport Law Offices, P.C., alleges the plaintiff has suffered permanent and disabling injuries, and seeks compensatory damages for medical expenses, caretaking expenses, loss of earnings, disability, pain and suffering.
