Joshua L. Weisberg is a trial lawyer whose practice is dedicated exclusively to representing victims and their families in personal injury and wrongful death cases. Early in his career Mr. Weisberg has already recovered millions of dollars on behalf of Rapoport Law Office's clients. Recently, Mr. Weisberg successfully negotiated a $1,000,000 settlement for a worker that was seriously injured after falling from a second story roof while working on a construction project in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Mr. Weisberg also obtained a $540,000 jury verdict for two people injured in an automobile collision in Shelbyville, Illinois, setting a new record as the largest verdict ever reported in Shelby County for the types of injuries incurred. Mr. Weisberg continues to play an integral role in many of the firm's high profile cases, including the wrongful death case of the co-pilot of American Airlines Flight 587 that crashed at Belle Harbor, New York in 2001; the wrongful death case of a man killed in an air taxi crash near Beaver Island, Michigan in 2001; and a case involving a van collision in Mexico that seriously injured eight people in 2003.
Joshua L. Weisberg graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law, Magna Cum Laude. Prior to graduating, the College of Law awarded Mr. Weisberg the prestigious Rickert Award for Excellence in Oral Advocacy. He was also named "Best Overall" in the College of Law's Frederick Green Moot Court Competition, and he was a regional champion and national finalist in the National Moot Court Competition. The firm looks forward to more legal victories from Mr. Weisberg in years to come.
